Bones & All - Reid Glynn

Often I wonder

When I’m found in a hundred years

What they would think I am?

When they see my skeleton in the dirt

Curled fetal under the earth

What would they think I am?

It seems that even in life

My bones are cause for concern

What would they think I am?

Without the breast tissue

Curves, fat and full lips

What they would think I am

Often I wonder

What ‘truth’ my bones may reveal

What do they think I am?

Let me be free in my flesh

Mine, not yours which you claim

What you must think I am

Man or woman

Life or death

What would they think I am?
